BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Registered)
Su is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and on the national Counselling/Psychotherapy register through that organisation. Her core training is Psychodynamic, although Su also works with other models e.g. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and incorporates Mindfulness into the work.
Work with Individuals:
Su is skilled and experienced in working towards new ways of thinking, which can have a positive effect when considering and identifying difficult life patterns and unhelpful thinking. These (often outdated) patterns may be contributing to emotional distress and troubling behaviour, causing disruption in personal and/or employment situations.
Relationship work:
When a relationship encounters problems, talking at home isn’t always enough to bring about real change. Relationship counselling offers a supportive environment in which to work through complexities and find enduring solutions. Su’s experience encompasses married couples, partners, friends, siblings and family members.
Su is a registered Fertility Counsellor and works with couples and individuals, either thinking of preparing for, going through stages of or following their IVF journey.
Su works with people to enable change and restore a balance to their emotional lives.
Su provides Psychodynamic Supervision for Qualified and Trainee counsellors from a broad spectrum of trainings and orientations. Her experience of supervision includes organisations, primary care and private practice.

Su’s fee’s are £80 for individuals and £95 for couples, per 50 minute appointment.
